Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Jaylen Wells (toe) is scheduled to undergo toe surgery and is expected to miss the rest of the season, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints reports. He has been diagnosed with a tendon avulsion fracture in his right great toe and will undergo a procedure to stabilize the toe. Wells has already missed three games due to the injury. The 22-year-old sophomore becomes the seventh Grizzlies player to be ruled out for the rest of the season. Wells' absence opens the door for Rayan Rupert, Jahmai Mashack, and DeJon Jarreau to take on expanded roles in the rotation.--Taavi Pailk
