Los Angeles Kings right wing Joel Armia (upper body) has been placed on Injured Reserve. The Finnish veteran missed a second consecutive game on Monday night against the Colorado Avalanche. Armia has notched 20 points (10 goals, 10 assists) in 53 contests this season, sitting tied for the league lead with four short-handed goals. The Kings recalled Jared Wright from the minors ahead of Monday's game, and he made his NHL debut in Armia's place. L.A.'s attack was also without Trevor Moore (illness) and Quinton Byfield (upper body) on Monday, opening a spot in the lineup for another debutant, Kenny Connors.--Taavi Pailk
