Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 16:
Darren Waller, TE, Miami Dolphins
Miami Dolphins tight end Darren Waller caught a pair of touchdown passes in his team's Monday Night Football loss to the Steelers, giving him six touchdowns in just six full games this season. He's in a great matchup this week against the Bengals, who allow more fantasy points to tight ends than any other team in the NFL by a wide margin.
Waller has shown he can still be a key contributor, especially near the end zone, but he will be working with a new quarterback this week as the Dolphins turn to rookie Quinn Ewers under center instead of Tua Tagovailoa. Ewers could look to Waller even more, especially in such a juicy matchup, but there's also a chance that the rookie can't get much going or focuses on other options. He's a volatile play, but he has enough upside to still be a solid starting option, so he's ranked as the No. 9 TE in RotoBaller's Week 16 rankings.
Kyle Pitts, TE, Atlanta Falcons

Kyle Pitts, TE, Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. (knee) is coming off the best game of his career, recording 11 receptions for 166 yards and three touchdowns in the team's 29-28 win over Tampa Bay last week, now sitting with 73 catches and 797 yards for the year. The 25-year-old has had a consistent role in the offense for much of the season, but got a boost as the main beneficiary of Drake London's (knee) absence over the last four weeks.
Pitts was a limited participant in practice during the week, and although London did not practice on Friday, both players are expected to suit up for Sunday's road matchup against the Cardinals. It will be the first time Pitts, London, and Kirk Cousins will all be on the field together this season, so it will be interesting to see how the targets get divvied up. Still, the 6-foot-6 tight end looks like a top-five option this week against an Arizona defense that has yielded the seventh-most fantasy points per game to tight ends this season, including an 8-76-1 line for the Texans' Dalton Schultz just last week.

Dalton Schultz, TE, Houston Texans
Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz has emerged as a top-10 tight end this season as one of the primary options in his team's passing attack. Even though the Raiders have been good against the position this season, Schultz has been consistent enough to still be a good option for your fantasy lineups in standard-sized leagues. Schultz had eight catches for 76 yards and a touchdown last week against the Cardinals, and he has at least six catches in five of his last seven games.
He's averaging 5.0 catches for 46.4 receiving yards per game this season and is a PPR beast. He gets plenty of targets and catches, so even though his yardage isn't always spectacular, he's a strong starter. In RotoBaller's Week 16 rankings, Schultz is ranked as the No. 8 TE.
Hunter Henry, TE, New England Patriots

Hunter Henry, TE, New England Patriots
New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry is coming off one of his worst games of the season: a one-catch, 18-yard outing against the Buffalo Bills. On one hand, it seems like Henry can only go up from here. On the other hand, he could struggle in a very challenging Week 16 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens' defense has allowed the third-fewest touchdowns and fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends in 2025. Just last week, they limited Cincinnati's Mike Gesicki to just one catch for 11 yards.
In addition to the tough matchup, Henry will face competition for targets from wide receivers Stefon Diggs, Kayshon Boutte, and Mack Hollins, especially with Baltimore struggling against perimeter receivers. New York has struggled against other skill-position groups, but ranks eighth against PPR tight ends.

That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this tool. When you search for player names, you will only see those players who are ranked. If someone is out for the week, they will not appear in the search results.
