Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 15:
Wan'Dale Robinson, WR, New York Giants
That stretch includes a monster 156-yard performance with a touchdown against the Detroit Lions in Week 12 with quarterback Jameis Winston at the helm. The 24-year-old wideout has two games with at least 140 receiving yards and a touchdown this season, putting him in excellent company with elite wide receivers around the league.
The only other players to post multiple games with those marks this season include George Pickens, Ja'Marr Chase, Puka Nacua, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, per Stathead. Robinson should be in for another productive game on Sunday against the Washington Commanders, and he ranks as RotoBaller's WR17 in PPR leagues.
Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Both he and Jakobi Meyers led the way with 29 routes run, with Tim Patrick playing the No. 3 role that Parker Washington (hip) had vacated. With Trevor Lawrence pushing the ball more aggressively over the last month and Jacksonville in a position to snowball the score against the Jets, Thomas could finally smash if those air yards are translated into the box score.
His spot around WR30 in our ranks is due to the roller-coaster ride we've endured to date, but those needing to aim for high-risk, high-reward output should deploy Thomas.
Jayden Reed, WR, Green Bay Packers
The 25-year-old hauled in all four of his targets for 31 yards while carrying the ball twice for 22 yards. The assumption is that Reed's workload will increase after playing only 47 percent of the offensive snaps last weekend. He'll draw a tough matchup against a Broncos defense that has allowed the second-fewest yards per target to wide receivers this season.
Reed still has enough upside to be looked at as a potential flex play in Week 15, but fantasy managers should temper their expectations in a bad matchup as Reed battles for touches in a crowded WR room in Green Bay.
Jordan Addison, WR, Minnesota Vikings
McCarthy has favored Addison, however, as the receiver has 17 targets in the past two weeks. That offers breakout potential against a Dallas defense that ranks 30th in net yards per attempt allowed, 32nd in passing touchdowns allowed, and 32nd against fantasy wide receivers.
Off the injury report and now facing a quality matchup, Addison has a pathway to a big week, albeit with risk, given the Vikings' offensive volatility this year.
