Pat Freiermuth - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Expert Monday Night Football betting predictions, best MNF prop bets, and odds analysis for Week 15. Free Monday Night Football picks and player props for tonight's game, including our top pick for an anytime touchdown.

Hello everybody, and welcome to Week 15's edition of Monday Night Football bets and props, where we will discuss props on Darren Waller, Kenneth Gainwell, and more! The NFL season is now into the holiday season, and we here at RotoBaller could not be more thrilled to bring you some of the best content in the market. We are excited to bring betting content to all those interested in every slate each week.

This weekly article will focus on the Monday night slate, and I will provide several betting angles for the scheduled games. I will typically offer at least one play on the game's total or spread, as well as at least three player or game props, including at least one anytime touchdown prop. Although this article will be published each week on Sunday evenings, you can always feel free to check out our Discord channel to see plays posted throughout the week.

This week's matchup features the Miami Dolphins against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA. Each of these teams has soft spots in their defenses that we can exploit. Without further delay, let's get into tonight's picks for what should be an awesome Week 15 of Monday Night Football!

Editor's Note: The FFPC Baby Gorilla Tournament is now open, featuring a $100,000 grand prize and a $675,450 total prize pool! This 12-team, Tight End Premium contest uses a 20-round draft format, with the overall winners determined by total points scored during Weeks 15–17. Week 15 Monday Night Football Betting Odds

Miami Dolphins @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Spread: Steelers -3
Total: 42.5

This week's matchup features two teams allegedly vying for an AFC playoff spot. I say allegedly, as the Miami Dolphins have now rattled off four straight victories; however, these victories have come against rather lackluster competition, aside from a win in Week 11 against the Buffalo Bills.

Meanwhile, the Steelers are currently sitting at 7-6 and are perched at the top of the AFC North. They have been rather average for most of the season and are just 3-3 over the previous six games.

Miami's strong suit has been neither its offense nor its defense, as it is middling in both categories. That being said, they have been relatively solid at limiting the damage on the scoreboard, as they currently rank in the top half of the league by allowing an average of just under 23 points per game.

Pittsburgh is not so dissimilar; however, they have struggled a bit more on defense, allowing an average of over 369 total yards per game, which currently has them ranked fifth-worst in the league. They especially struggle to defend the pass, allowing an average of 244 passing yards per game, ranking them sixth-worst in the league.

Week 15 Monday Night Football Betting Picks

Las Vegas clearly thinks this game is going to be rather low scoring, with the total currently set to 42.5, and at first glance, I tended to agree. I also thought we were going to have much worse weather than what is currently projected. Originally, freezing rain and sleet were expected in the forecast, but now we are just looking at very cold temperatures.

All that being said, the Dolphins do have a horrible history in cold-weather games, and had lost 11 straight games when temperatures were below 40 degrees before last week's win against the Jets. Perhaps that win was exactly what they needed to get their mojo going, and they could move the ball against this Steelers' defense.

Overall, Pittsburgh ranks fifth-worst in the league in total yards allowed by allowing an average of nearly 370 yards per game. They are especially awful in the secondary, as they have allowed the sixth-most passing yards to offenses, by allowing an average of 244 passing yards per game.

Miami's rush defense, on the other hand, has struggled with regularity this season. Overall, they rank eighth-worst in the league, allowing an average of nearly 132 rushing yards per game.

Both offenses have shown the ability to score, as Pittsburgh ranks in the top half of the league in points scored, while the Dolphins sit just outside the top half.

While I ultimately think Pittsburgh wins this game at home and covers, I feel like the over is a better recommendation in this spot with two sub-par defenses on the field and two somewhat respectable offenses.

The Pick: OVER 42.5 (-105, DraftKings)

Week 15 Monday Night Football Player Props

Darren Waller OVER 2.5 receptions (-118, DraftKings)

It is no secret that Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins have a history of struggling in cold weather, which is exactly why I want to look for a play on someone who may be involved in the shorter passing game, and Darren Waller fits that bill. While he has seen just three targets in each of the previous two games, he does have three or more catches in two of his five full games played this season.

Tua should look to get him involved early in this game, especially against this Steelers' defense. Overall, Pittsburgh has allowed the eighth-most receiving yards to the tight end position, allowing an average of nearly 63 yards per game. Additionally, and most importantly, they have allowed the ninth-most receptions, averaging over six per game.

The Steelers have also allowed at least one tight end to haul in three or more receptions in every game since Week 3. This feels like a very good get-right spot for Waller on Monday Night Football.

Kenneth Gainwell OVER 22.5 rushing yards (-117, DraftKings)

When looking at Gainwell, it is tough not to look at his receiving props, but I kind of like this number sitting at 22.5 for his rushing yards. He has seen an average of seven carries per game over the previous four weeks while also averaging nearly 38 rushing yards per game.

Now, it should be noted that he has failed to eclipse this number in two of those four games, but he does have a 24-yard and 92-yard rushing performance across that span. He gets a solid matchup against the Dolphins, who are allowing over 4.7 yards per carry on the season.

Additionally, Miami ranks in the bottom half of the league in terms of rushing yards allowed to the running back position. I think we need Gainwell to get approximately five to six carries in this game to hit the over, which is a number he has hit in three of his previous four games.

Week 15 Monday Night Football Anytime Touchdown Bet

Pat Freiermuth ANYTIME touchdown (+425, DraftKings)

Let's have some fun with this week's anytime touchdown scorer and take a look at Freiermuth, who has really boosted odds to score in the +400 range. He has already scored four touchdowns this season and has a solid shot to find the end zone again.

Even with Darnell Washington (concussion) off the injury report, I still like Freiermuth, as he has seen three red zone targets across the previous three games and has a solid matchup against the Miami defense. Overall, Miami has allowed the fourth-most receiving yards to the tight end position. Additionally, they have allowed seven touchdowns to tight ends, which ranks sixth-worst in the league.

This could be an excellent spot for him to find pay dirt for the fifth time this season, and with odds north of +400, why not take a flyer on him here?
