K'Andre Miller Expected to Remain Out Tuesday
Carolina Hurricanes defenseman K'Andre Miller (lower body) is likely to remain out for a third consecutive game on Tuesday against the Vegas Golden Knights. However, according to Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour, Miller's return is "around the corner." If he doesn't play on Tuesday, then it looks like there's a very good chance Miller will be available for Thursday's matchup against the New York Islanders. Miller has had a good start with his new team, amassing four points (two goals, two assists), eight blocks, and six hits in six games. Jaccob Slavin (lower body) and Shayne Gostisbehere (lower body) have also been absent from the Hurricanes blue line, giving players like Mike Reilly and Alexander Nikishin extra responsibilities.
