5 Fantasy Football Bold Predictions - Aidin Ebrahimi's Week 6 Picks (2025)

Marvin Harrison Jr. - Fantasy Football Rankings, WR, Waiver Wire, NFL DFS, Rookies

Aidin Ebrahimi's five fantasy football bold predictions for Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season. Expert predictions for Sam Darnold, Trevor Lawrence, Rico Dowdle, and more.

After the shocking Giants/Eagles game on Thursday night, the 2025 NFL season is shaping up to be one of "those" seasons. Anyone can beat anyone, and unless you're the Browns, Saints, or Jets, you can even have some playoff expectations.

In this article, we will look at five of my boldest predictions for Week 6. Some of these predictions are bolder than the others, and there's a high chance that none of them will come to fruition. But hey, what's the fun in going for the obvious picks every single week?

Without further ado, let's look at my five bold predictions for Sam Darnold, Trevor Lawrence, Rico Dowdle, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Drake London.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Sam Darnold and Trevor Lawrence Will Finish in the Top Five Once Again

Let's start with the first two predictions, both in one segment! The Seahawks' defense got off to an incredible start in the first four weeks, allowing just 67 points to the 49ers, Steelers, Saints, and Cardinals. However, their dominant defense finally broke down in Week 5.

The mastermind behind the Bucs' 38-point explosion in Week 5 was first-year OC Josh Grizzard, who worked alongside Liam Coen in 2024. Now, Coen's Jaguars will take on the Seahawks in Week 5, and it's apparent that Coen is looking to replicate the tactics of his former understudy to win this crucial matchup.

The Jaguars' offense is on a roll, and Lawrence finished as the QB5 in Week 5 following an inconsistent start to the year. Brian Thomas Jr. and Travis Hunter are both coming off their best games of the year and are quickly building some chemistry with each other.

Of course, Darnold won't just lie down. He's been a different QB since 2024, and finished as the QB2 last week.

This game has all the ingredients to be a classic shootout, and both signal callers will do anything to win. Look for them to finish as top fantasy quarterbacks for the second week in a row.

Rico Dowdle Will Get His Revenge

When Chuba Hubbard was ruled out for the Panthers' Week 5 matchup against the Dolphins, many thought the Panthers were headed for their fifth loss of the season. But Dowdle came to the rescue and shocked the world.

The former Dallas Cowboy ran for 206 yards (tied for the ninth-most rushing yards by a player in a game since 2020) and a touchdown, finishing as Week 5's top fantasy performer.

Hubbard is headed towards yet another week on the sidelines, so this will be the perfect opportunity for Dowdle to get his revenge on his former team.

Dowdle ran for over 1,000 yards in his only season as the Cowboys' starting RB, but wasn't re-signed following that season.

After doing a nice job of containing the run in the first three weeks of the year, the Cowboys gave up 86 rushing yards to Josh Jacobs in Week 4 and 113 rushing yards to Breece Hall in Week 5.

Dowdle is ready to prove his former team wrong, as he told ESPN's David Newton, "Buckle your chinstraps up. I will be coming.''

Marvin Harrison Jr. Will Have His Best Game of the Season

Update: This segment was originally written assuming Kyler Murray would start in Week 6. However, per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Kyler Murray has been ruled out for the Cardinals' Week 6 matchup against the Colts. QB Jacoby Brissett will start in his place.

Harrison has demonstrated remarkable mental strength throughout his young career. Despite being flamed by the media almost every single week, he's still the Cardinals' best wideout by far (almost 250 yards more this season than Greg Dortch), and ranks 19th in the league for total receiving yards among WRs.

Harrison is not Puka Nacua (yet), but he is a player who can put together some great fantasy performances. He's been the PPR WR12 over the last two weeks, and will now face a Colts team that has allowed the fifth-most PPR points per game to wideouts this year (38.0).

There is no doubt that the Colts can put tons of points on the board, and Jacoby Brissett will need to target Harrison a lot (especially due to the team's many injuries) to give the Cardinals a chance of winning this game.

Drake London Will Be Week 6’s Overall WR1

This is the boldest prediction on this list. After allowing 28.1 PPR points and 143 receiving yards to Zay Flowers in Week 1, the Bills managed to keep opposing wideouts in check in their next three games against relatively easy opposition.

However, in Week 5, former Bills star Stefon Diggs torched them for 24.6 PPR points and 146 yards. It's clear that the Bills' secondary is susceptible to good QB/WR1 duos, and the rested Falcons could be hard to contain in Week 6.

Except for his inexcusable Week 3 performance against Carolina, Michael Penix Jr. has looked sharp so far this season, while London bounced back from his slow start with a 110-yard performance in Week 4, finishing as the PPR WR4 that week.

This could be a statement performance for London and Penix against a demoralized Bills defense.
