Kalel Mullings Officially Out Versus Rams
Kalel Mullings (ankle) has officially been ruled out of Week 2 against the visiting Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Mullings made his NFL debut in last week's loss to the Denver Broncos as the RB3 behind Tony Pollard and Julius Chestnut, but was quickly injured in the first half on special teams. The 22-year-old sixth-rounder didn't see a single touch on offense in the 20-12 loss in Denver. With Tyjae Spears (ankle) on Injured Reserve and set to miss at least the first four weeks of the season, Tennessee's backfield depth behind Pollard and Chestnut is dangerously thin. Now that Mullings is out, the Titans were forced to bring up Jordan Mims from the practice squad for Sunday's game against the Rams. He'll operate as the team's No. 3 RB in Week 2.
