Denzel Clarke Doing Limited Activities
Denzel Clarke (groin) is doing limited baseball activities as he is recovering from a Grade 2 adductor strain. The speedy 25-year-old injured himself while running the bases in a game at Cleveland this past weekend. It is somewhat encouraging that he has been able to participate in limited workouts thus far. However, he still has a long way to go before returning to the Athletics' outfield. The rookie has been a highlight reel with his glove, making outstanding defensive plays in his short time with the big-league club. He is also helping out at the plate with three home runs and six stolen bases in 44 games played. There is no timetable for his return, but it is believed that Clarke will come back before the end of the season.
