Maverick McNealy May Need To Be Avoided at TPC River Highlands
Maverick McNealy has come close multiple times to victories this year, falling just short each time. He has six top 10s, which include three top-three finishes. He has also been consistent about making cuts (14/17). This week's Travelers Championship will test players' ability to be precise off the tee, hit good iron shots, and be savvy on and around the greens. McNealy ranks 98th in driving accuracy (58.76%), 41st in strokes gained on approach (+0.338), 133rd in strokes gained around the green (-0.151), and 37th in strokes gained putting (+0.271). However, a key distance will be 100-150, a distance McNealy has struggled with, ranking outside the top 100. He's not a terrible play by any means, but there are many better options out there for fantasy managers this week.
