Konnor Griffin Goes Deep Again on Sunday
Konnor Griffin went deep on Sunday for the second-straight game. In this contest against High-A Rome, Griffin went 1-for-4 at the plate with a long ball and three RBI. On Saturday, Griffin tallied three hits at the plate with a home run. Through his first six games at the High-A level, the ninth overall pick in last year's MLB Draft has been swinging a hot bat, posting a stellar .407/.469/.778 line with four doubles and two home runs. During this stretch, Griffin has swiped six bags and held a 2:3 K:BB. Earlier this season, Griffin made his professional debut with Low-A Bradenton and posted a .338/.396/.536 slash line with 10 doubles and nine home runs across 50 games. Griffin is quickly rising up dynasty boards but remains several seasons away from his MLB debut.
