Bobby Witt Jr. Goes Deep in Win Over White Sox
Bobby Witt Jr. was among the club's offensive catalysts in a 7-5 win over the Chicago White Sox on Sunday. Witt went 2-for-5 and capped off his afternoon with a ninth-inning two-run homer that put the game out of reach. The 24-year-old now has a seven-game hitting streak and has gone a sizzling 10-of-29 with two HRs and six RBI in June. While Witt's 2025 numbers don't rival his spectacular output from last season, he's still hitting a more-than-respectable .291/.349/.492 with eight HRs, 37 RBI, and 21 stolen bases over 289 plate appearances. Witt and the Royals will start a three-game series against the New York Yankees on Tuesday.
