Carter Jensen Logs Four-Hit Performance on Tuesday
Carter Jensen went 4-for-5 with a double, a triple, an RBI, and one run scored on Tuesday for Double-A Northwest Arkansas. The Royals' third-ranked prospect has been a streaky hitter so far this season, and with a slugging percentage of .310, the 21-year-old hasn't had many extra-base hits to this point, with Tuesday's being his first hits for extra bases since a home run back on May 3. The former third-round draft pick ranks as the 88th overall prospect in baseball with an ETA of 2026 for a major league debut per MLB.com, and although he has the potential to hit for some power, he doesn't need to be stashed in dynasty leagues at this point. Jensen will also have to compete with Royals' second-ranked prospect Blake Mitchell for starting duties in the coming years if they both remain in Kansas City.
