Jordan Staal Doubtful For Wednesday
Carolina Hurricanes center Jordan Staal (lower body) is considered doubtful for Wednesday's contest against the Washington Capitals. Head coach Rod Brind'Amour noted that this move is precautionary. Fantasy managers should monitor his status leading up to their next game on Friday evening against the Detroit Red Wings. He is currently riding a six-game scoreless streak. During this skid, Staal has logged nine hits, two blocks, and held a -2 rating. While Staal is out of the lineup, fantasy managers should expect Tyson Jost to remain in the starting lineup.
