Fantasy Football Injury Reports: Divisional Round Updates for David Montgomery, Zay Flowers, Isiah Pacheco, Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Ray Davis

David Montgomery - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Fantasy football injury updates and injury reports for QB, RB, WR, TE for the Divisional Round (2025), as of 1/14, including David Montgomery, Zay Flowers, Isiah Pacheco, Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Ray Davis.

It's time for the Divisional Round! While one could make the argument that this year's Wild Card Round wasn't as good as last year's, it still had its fair share of excitement and memorable moments.

But now is when the real fun begins. Anything can happen, and injuries to star players are one of the biggest reasons why the postseason is so unpredictable.

Without further ado, let's look at some injuries to watch and consider heading into the Divisional Round. Don't forget to bookmark our fantasy football player news page, or download the free RotoBaller fantasy football mobile app with push notification alerts to stay notified.

David Montgomery, RB, Detroit Lions

During the Lions' Week 15 shootout against the Bills, Montgomery tore his MCL and was ruled out for the rest of the season. Jahmyr Gibbs dominated in his place, racking up 487 yards and six touchdowns from scrimmage in the last three games of the season.

Gibbs showed he has the potential to be the best running back in the league as a full-time starter, but he might have to wait a bit for his first playoff start. Montgomery's injury has miraculously healed, and now Detroit expects him to return soon.

"[Montgomery's] a big part of us," said Lions head coach Dan Campbell. "There’ll be a place for him in this game so it’ll be good to get him back." Coming back from an MCL injury is no joke, but Detroit will need the veteran to heat up quickly for their potential Super Bowl run.

Zay Flowers, WR, Baltimore Ravens

As expected, Zay Flowers missed the Ravens' Wild Card victory against the Steelers due to his Week 18 knee injury. However, it looks like the Ravens' leading wideout will return to action sooner than expected.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Flowers "has a chance to be back" for the game against the Bills. Flowers had a terrible game in Week 4 against the Bills, catching just one pass for 10 yards. He'll hope to have a better showing in his third career playoff game.

Isiah Pacheco, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

Isiah Pacheco's quest for his first 1,000-yard season ended abruptly in Week 2 after he suffered a fractured fibula. He eventually managed to make his return late in the season but didn't play in the Chiefs' season finale due to a rib injury.

The Chiefs held an unofficial practice on Friday, and Pacheco was present and practiced with the team. In their Week 16 showdown against the Texans, Pacheco was outperformed by his backup Kareem Hunt, so he's hoping to improve upon that performance in the Divisional Round.

Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs, WR, Green Bay Packers

The 2024 Green Bay Packers ended their season in disappointing fashion, as they lost a fairly winnable game against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card Round. Jordan Love threw three interceptions, but to be fair to him, he lost his three top receivers in his last two games.

Christian Watson suffered a devastating injury in Week 18, while Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed got hurt in their playoff game against Philly. Reed dislocated his shoulder but revealed after the game that he won't need surgery to fix the issue and will be ready for the 2025 season.

Meanwhile, Doubs suffered a scary concussion midway through the third quarter. This is Doubs' second concussion in just as many months.

Ray Davis, RB, Buffalo Bills

Another player who suffered a concussion in the Wild Card Round was Ray Davis. The rookie running back showed some flashes of greatness as the team's backup behind James Cook and was looking to have a good showing in the playoffs.

Unfortunately, Davis only had one carry for three yards and suffered a concussion. Davis is now in the concussion protocol, which usually takes around a week to clear, meaning he will likely miss the Bills' game against the Ravens.
