Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 16? Jordan Addison, Zay Flowers, Tee Higgins

Fantasy Football Wide Receivers to Prioritize in PPR, But Fade in Standard Leagues (2025)

Who should I start for Week 16? Fantasy football outlooks for Jordan Addison, Zay Flowers, Tee Higgins. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.

In the fantasy playoffs, fantasy managers must make calculated decisions when setting their final lineup. In this piece, I will analyze three wide receivers who have flashed WR1 upside at times this season but have occasionally struggled to deliver consistent performances.

Zay Flowers plays in a run-first offense, while Jordan Addison and Tee Higgins are the No.2 options in their respective passing attacks.

Should we consider putting their wide receivers in our lineup?

Should I Start Jordan Addison for Fantasy Football?

After averaging just 8.7 PPR points per game during Weeks 7 through 10, Addison has gone on to average an impressive 21.5 PPR points over his previous five games. During this span he has found the end zone five times.

Even operating as the No.2 option in the passing attack, Addison has continued to see consistent looks (8.8 targets per game since Week 11). This weekend he will face the Seattle Seahawks who have allowed the 15th-most PPR points to opposing wideouts. Given his current target share and big-play ability (15.8 yards per catch) he is a must-start WR2.

Should I Start Zay Flowers for Fantasy Football?

Since Week 10, Flowers has seen his production drop as he has just averaged 10.4 PPR points per game during this span. This is a drop from the 15.0 PPR points he averaged during the first nine games of the season. Despite the drop in his overall ceiling, Flowers is still seeing an impressive 6.8 targets per game over his past five games.

This weekend he will face a tough Pittsburgh Steelers defense that has allowed the 15th-fewest PPR points to opposing wideouts. The last time he faced them he caught just two of his six targets. Despite the underwhelming performance in their previous match, Flowers remains Lamar Jackson's go-to option, even in a run-first gameplan. He is a solid WR2 in PPR formats.

Should I Start Tee Higgins for Fantasy Football?

Since returning in Week 11 from a quadriceps injury that kept him out for three games, Higgins has had three outings where he scored at least 15.0 PPR points. In the other game, he scored just 4.3 PPR points. Despite the wide range of outcomes, he has seen an impressive 9.0 targets per game while averaging 15.6 yards per catch.

Facing the Cleveland Browns who have allowed the tenth-most PPR points to opposing wide receivers should set Higgins up for a "boom" performance on Sunday. Given Joe Burrow's production this season, fantasy managers should feel confident starting Higgins in all formats even playing in Ja'Marr Chase's shadow as he should have ample opportunities to get on the scoresheet.
