ANALYSIS: Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson was a fantasy football afterthought heading into the 2024 season. The Cardinals drafted Marvin Harrison Jr. and have an elite young tight end in Trey McBride. Yet, the former Stanford star has played well this year.
Wilson is the WR46 this season, averaging 7.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. He had a solid performance in Week 6, totaling two receptions on four targets for 21 receiving yards and a touchdown, totaling 9.1 fantasy points against the Green Bay Packers.

More importantly, Wilson’s role on offense has grown over the past few weeks. The second-year receiver has had at least four targets in four consecutive games, averaging 6.5 per contest. He has had at least six targets in three of the past four games.
Unfortunately, Harrison suffered a concussion in Week 6, likely knocking him out for this week’s matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. Wilson should see an uptick in targets with the star receiver out of the lineup, making him a mid-range WR3 with upside in Week 7.
