ANALYSIS: Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett has been one of the more underrated pass catchers in the NFL for the past several years. While his days as a fantasy football star are over, the veteran is still a talented wide receiver. He was one of Seattle’s highest-graded players by PFF in Week 5.

Unfortunately, PFF grading doesn’t equate to fantasy football production. Lockett is the WR48 for the year, averaging 7.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Despite averaging 6.4 targets per game, the veteran wide receiver hasn’t scored double-digit fantasy points since opening weekend.
While fantasy players in standard-size leagues should avoid playing Lockett this week, he is a solid flex option in deeper leagues. He faces a San Francisco 49ers defense that has surrendered four receiving touchdowns to wide receivers this season. Three were by the No. 2 or No. 3 wide receiver. Lockett is a touchdown-or-bust flex option this week.
