NFL DFS: Ravens vs. Steelers DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Football Picks - Saturday Showdown Slate (Week 18)

George Pickens - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Today's top NFL DFS lineup picks for DraftKings, Fanduel - Ravens vs. Steelers showdown slate for Week 18 (Jan 6, 2024). Koby's NFL daily fantasy sleeper picks.

Happy Saturday, RotoBallers! Welcome back to another Showdown on this final week of the regular season! We have a great game as the Steelers are fighting for a playoff spot against a Baltimore Ravens team who have locked up the first seed in the playoffs and have decided to rest a lot of key players. This is a must-win for the Steelers and I don't think the Ravens just lay down and take it but they won't take any unnecessary risks that may end up causing an injury. So come on in and let's navigate the injury jungle and find some plays to get us some extra cash!

I absolutely love playing the NFL showdowns each weekend, it has become one of my favorite forms of DFS. Nothing is more thrilling than having a lineup consisting of players from one game and sweating it out while watching it live. There is a lot less room for error though with there being fewer options to choose from. Hopefully, with all the advanced stats, I will be able to bring you the best analysis possible and get you some extra cash for the weekend ahead.

I will be providing you with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Ravens vs. Steelers NFL DFS showdown slate on January 6. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. MVP/Captain - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

George Pickens- RB, $14,100 (DK), $14,500 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2023 Stats: 1,140 receiving yards, 63 receptions, 5 touchdowns

This seems like the clear option for Mason Rudolph, over the last two weeks, George Pickens has been a monster going for 11 receptions and 326 yards with two touchdowns. Also earlier in the year, he picked apart a tough Baltimore secondary going for six receptions and 130 yards with a touchdown. Baltimore was pretty thin in the secondary last weekend and I expect them to be thin once again with this game not having any effect on them and resting their starters. George could be in for another monster game with the season on the line.

Justice Hill- RB, $8,400 (DK), $8,000 (FD)

I'm going with a cheap captain option, Justice Hill had one hell of a game against the Dolphins on Sunday. With a lot of players out for Baltimore he could be once again heavily featured in the passing game where he had five receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown last week. I believe Justice Hill will be used as a security outlet for Huntley, leading to him getting plenty of targets. He also might end up with a bigger workload in the running game if Gus Edwards is held out a bit so they can keep him rested for the playoffs.

Other Captains/MVPs: Mason Rudolph

Flex Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Pittsburgh Defense - DEF, $3,800 (DK), $9,000 (FD)

Pittsburgh is in a great spot to put on a defensive masterclass. Pittsburgh had the opportunity to go against Tyler Huntley twice last season and held the team to 16 points and 13 points in their two matchups. The Defense only allowed one touchdown and sacked Huntley twice with an INT between the two games as well. In a game also where they are likely to be down not only Odell Beckham Jr. but it looks like Zay Flowers is going to be out as well. If they contain Huntley, this could be a low-scoring game which should lead to the defense scoring decently well.

Jaylen Warren- RB, $6,200 (DK), $10,000 (FD)

I think Najee's recent success has overshadowed how good Jaylen Warren has been this season. He is very prominent in the receiving game which makes him a solid target in DFS. The issue lately is Najee has been getting the Redzone carries for the most part. I do think we could see something like a longer TD from Jaylen Warren here which could end up making him a solid flex option and with the Ravens giving up the least amount of rushing TDs this season, this could lead to Warren getting something in the passing game.

Other Flex Options: Najee Harris, Dionte Johnson

Value Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Rashod Bateman/Nelson Agholor- WR, $3,400 (DK), $7,500 (FD)

I'm going to have lineups with both of these guys, they are basically all Tyler Huntley will have to throw to with OBJ and Zay Flowers out. Someone has to catch the ball right? Both of these guys are cheap and both are bound to get some targets. Agholor had four receptions for 64 yards in their previous meeting and we could see something similar. I like Bateman as more of the deep ball threat and he could be used for that big play that changes the game. With Zay Flowers doubtful to play, Bateman could be slotted into a big-time role in this game.

Chris Boswell- K, $4,600 (DK), $8,500 (FD)

Boswell could be poised for a solid outing as the Ravens are giving up the second least amount of TDs in the Redzone this season and that could end up leading to some extra field goal opportunities. He hit all three field goals in their last matchup and has been quite the ace this season going 28/30 on the season. I have a feeling this either ends up being a defensive masterclass from both teams and ends up with a lot of field goals or could be a Steelers route to a playoff spot.

Other Value Plays: Pat Freiermuth

Good luck, everyone!
