Justin Fields's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 14 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Justin Fields for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB1
ANALYSIS: Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields completed 27 of his 37 pass attempts for 217 yards and ran the ball 12 times for 59 yards in Week 12 win against the Minnesota Vikings. Fields is coming off a bye week and with a little bit of rest the quarterback is ready to take on divisional rival the Detroit Lions.
In Week 14, the Bears will have a home battle against the Lions who sit at 17th in the NFL in fewest passing yards allowed per game. It's a matchup which could open up the field a little bit more for Fields, who has only thrown for over 300 yards once this season. Fields' duel threat ability gives him the capability to have a fantastic fantasy outing but Chicago will need to get the passing game going early if the quarterback wants to see a high-scoring fantasy performance.
For this week, Fields can be used as a QB1 option in fantasy lineups where he should be able to see both success in the air and on the ground. Fantasy owners should feel confident putting Fields in their lineup, as the quarterback has thrown for eight touchdowns in his last three games.
Justin Fields is listed as QB7 in our Half-PPR player rankings.
