Jeff Wilson Jr.'s fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 13 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Jeff Wilson Jr. for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Sit in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB4
ANALYSIS: Miami Dolphins running back Jeff Wilson Jr. hasn’t had much fantasy football success in 2023. The veteran running back is the RB77 for the year, averaging only 4.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. He missed the first six games of the season with an injury. However, Wilson has only 18 rushing attempts for 85 yards and nine receptions for 67 receiving yards in four games this season.
Last week, the veteran running back had his best performance of the year against the New York Jets. He had 11 rushing attempts for 56 yards and three receptions for 17 receiving yards in the win over the AFC East division rivals.
Wilson played a meaningful role. He had only seven fewer opportunities than Raheem Mostert despite playing 19 fewer snaps. Furthermore, Wilson ran only six fewer routes than Mostert against the Jets.
Unfortunately, Wilson has limited fantasy value this week with De'Von Achane playing. The explosive rookie running back didn’t play in Week 12 because of a knee injury. Fantasy players should avoid starting the veteran running back while Mostert and Achane are healthy.
