BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku was a popular late-round fantasy football draft pick this year. The veteran tight end is the TE11 for the season, averaging 7.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. He has 51 receptions on 78 targets for 492 receiving yards and two touchdowns this year. More importantly, Njoku has been the second most consistent pass catcher on the team behind Amari Cooper.
The former Miami star has been outstanding lately. Despite playing with multiple quarterbacks over the past five weeks, Njoku has averaged 5.4 receptions on 9.4 targets for 55.2 receiving yards and 10.6 fantasy points per game. He has scored at least 8.8 fantasy points in every contest, totaling 10.6 or more twice.
Meanwhile, the veteran tight end has an excellent matchup tomorrow against the Los Angeles Rams. The NFC West team has surrendered 11.1 fantasy points per game to tight ends this season, the sixth-most in the NFL. They have given up 11.4 or more fantasy points to tight ends in six of their past eight contests, including last week.
Njoku has been playing well lately. While Joe Flacco is making his Browns debut against the Rams, expect the veteran quarterback to lean on the talented tight end.
