You know it's time for the holidays when we have a dual college basketball slate on a Monday! The Maui Invitational Starts today. We have tournaments going on in the Bahamas, the Caymans, and Florida. All the tropical locales are invaded by hoopheads just as winter is starting to grip the country.
We have eight star-studded teams competing in the early slate today with Tennessee, Syracuse, Indiana, Louisville, Purdue, Gonzaga, Florida State, and UNLV. It's going to be a challenge to get who we want in lineups with pricing the way it is, but that's what makes it fun, right?
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for the early slate on DraftKings on 11/20/23, starting at 2:30 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards
Dalton Knecht, Tennessee ($7,200)
Knecht is instant offense for the Vols. He is shooting 54.1% from the floor on 37 shots in the first three games. He is also getting to the line a lot (18 attempts) and picking up a fair share of rebounds. The scoring is nothing new for the transfer from Nothern Colorado. He averaged 20.2 points per game there last year. He is averaging close to that on a very talented Tennessee team and the price isn't out of control yet.
Tre White, Louisville ($6,600)
White has scored in double figures in all four games for the Cardinals so far, but that's not what has me chasing. It's the 34 rebounds in four games. That's a high number for a guard and double-double bonuses are rare for backcourt players. White has already posted one double-double so far and doesn't have less than six rebounds in a game. That's a great floor for the price.
Cam'Ron Fletcher, Florida State ($4,800)
Matt Cleveland is gone, so Fletcher should be able to retain the role he had last season for the Seminoles. He hasn't played more than 18 minutes in a game yet, but Florida State hasn't played a close game yet either. This game with UNLV should be a more competitive contest. Fletcher has performed well so far with 68.25 DraftKings points in just 48 minutes in the three games. If he gets around 25-28 minutes in this one, he's going to be a great value play.
Also consider: Judah Mintz, Syracuse ($9,700); Josiah-Jordan James, Tennessee ($7,400); Braden Smith, Purdue ($7,100); Nolan Hickman, Gonzaga ($5,400); Ty-Laur Johnson, Louisville ($4,700)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards
Zach Edey, Purdue ($11,000)
Edey has dominated in the first three games for Purdue, putting up 62 points, 30 rebounds, six assists, and 11 blocks in three games. Gonzaga will provide a little more resistance, but they don't have the size up front to keep Edey from having his way for most of the game. His shooting has been better so far this year and the peripherals haven't suffered. Edey could be in for a monster year, but he is also priced like it.
Malik Reneau, Indiana ($7,000)
Even though Louisville was blown out by UConn yesterday, Reneau still had a very efficient 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting before fouling out. He has proven to be an efficient scorer and a high-energy player who chases down rebounds and protects the rim. He's Trayce Jackson-Davis light, but Indiana has enough other pieces to help pick up the slack as well.
Kalib Boone, UNLV ($6,400)
The former Oklahoma State rim protector has resurfaced in Vegas and is thriving with his larger role in the offense. Boone wasn't much of a scorer with the Pokes, but he has 28 points in two games with the Rebels and has made 13 of his 18 shots from the floor. Don't worry...the blocks are still there. He has four in two games.
Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, Louisville ($5,400)
Huntley-Hatfield has been a monster on the glass for the Cardinals in the early going. He has snagged 40 rebounds in just 102 minutes through the first four games. His offense leaves something to be desired, but those rebounds can sure add up in a hurry. Indiana isn't as big in the middle as they were last year. Huntley-Hatfield should have another big day on the boards.
