New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is "not inclined to fire" head coach Bill Belichick in the middle of the season, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Despite the Patriots starting the year 2-7, it appears they will let their future Hall of Fame coach finish out the campaign before making a decision on his future. It's worth noting that Belichick did recently sign a lucrative, multi-year deal, and the belief is that he remains under contract through at least 2024. However, Rapoport notes that moving on from Belichick during the upcoming offseason is possible. By letting Belichick finish out the regular season, the Patriots would keep his contract in place so that they could receive some sort of compensation should they decide to trade him. The legendary coach's status will be a key storyline to follow come January, but for now, it appears his job is safe.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerRead More News
