Tyrod Taylor Done For The Year?

New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll isn't committing to quarterback Tyrod Taylor (ribs) returning the rest of this season. Taylor is currently on Injured Reserve and will miss at least the next three games, but it sounds as though he might not make it back at all in 2023. It's more bad news for the Giants after they just lost Daniel Jones (knee) for the rest of the year with a torn right ACL he suffered in the Week 9 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. New York is expected to move forward with undrafted rookie Tommy Devito as their starter, with Matt Barkley backing him up. It's not an ideal situation, and it's one that will drastically lower running back Saquon Barkley's fantasy upside for the foreseeable future. The 34-year-old Taylor started three games with Jones nursing a neck injury from Weeks 6-8 and threw for 487 yards and two touchdowns.
