Our first bet of the day takes us to Boston, where the Yankees will play a doubleheader against the Red Sox. We will take Michael King on his strikeout prop in game one of the twin bill. The Yankees have been stretching King out as a starter over his last five appearances. His last time out, he got to 79 pitches. Over his previous three starts in which King was extended, he has a 34.0% K% and an 11.0% SwStr%. The Red Sox, over the last 30 days, own a 21.4% K% against right-hand pitching.

SGP, Kodai Senga 6+ Strikeouts and Merrill Kelly 5+ Strikeouts (-115 DraftKings Sportsbook)

I want to start by saying that I love these props in their own right. Parlaying them together for one less strikeout makes this my favorite bet on my card today.

Kodai Senga enters today's start with a 28.9% K% and a 12.6% SwStr% on the season. Over his last three starts, Senga has a 34.6% K% and a 13.2% SwStr%. His opponent, the Arizona Diamondbacks, has a 22.9% K% against right-handed arms in the last 30 days. Senga has double-digit strikeouts in two of his previous three games, so getting six tonight should be no sweat for the Japanese phenom.

Merrill Kelly comes in to play with a 26.4% K% and a 12.2% SwStr% on the season. Over his last six starts, Kelly has a 31.0% K% and a 12.6% SwStr%. He reached double-digit strikeouts in three of those six starts, including two 12-strikeout performances—the Mets strikeout against right-handed batters at a 24.5% clip in the last 30 days. I love the parlay of these two tonight, and I'm even adding the under with the 50% boost on DraftKings.
