According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the 49ers and defensive end Nick Bosa may not agree on a new contract before the team's Week 1 opener in Pittsburgh. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year has been a force to be reckoned with since entering the league in 2019, totaling 156 tackles and 43 sacks in 51 games. However, he's been away from the team while searching for a lucrative deal. Fowler added that many believe Bosa could become the highest-paid defensive player in the National Football League. While something will likely get done, considering both sides are "less than $4 million per year" away from reaching a mutual agreement, it's still not an ideal scenario for IDP managers.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBallerRead More News
