I've been on a bit of a roll on the side/total side of things on the books, but today we'll be looking at some props. We have a great slate to pick from today, as all 30 teams will be taking the field. Let's get right to it.

MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Eury Perez OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (-165, DK) vs. WSH
I'll start things off on the pitching front with Marlins starter Eury Perez against the Nationals. Perez averages 5.9 strikeouts per start this season and is coming off a 10-strikeout performance against the Dodgers last Saturday. He'll take on the Nationals today, a team he struck out six against back in May. The Nats' strikeout rate has gone from 20.4% across the entire season up to 26.6% over the last seven days. Perez brings in a 36.7% strikeout rate over the last 30 days and projects to 7.24 strikeouts today.
Zack Wheeler UNDER 7.5 Strikeouts (-145, DK) vs. STL
This is probably my favorite prop of the day, as I believe we're getting very solid value on Zack Wheeler's under. Wheeler averages 6.6 strikeouts per start in 2023 and has gone under this number in 18 of 25 starts. He'll take on a Cardinals lineup that has struck out at a 16.9% clip over the last week. Similarly, the strikeouts haven't been there for Wheeler either, going under in each of his last four starts and bringing in an 18.5% strikeout rate over the last two weeks. He projects to just 5.22 strikeouts today.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Julio Rodriguez OVER 1.5 TB (-150, FD) vs. KC
I'll be looking at a pair of Mariner bats against Jordan Lyles today, starting things off on the hitters' front with one of the hottest hitters in baseball over the last month, Julio Rodriguez. Lyles has been poor this season and brings in a 6.01 SIERA over the last two weeks. J-Rod is 3-6 with a double against Lyles in his career, projects to a very solid .411 wOBA against him, and projects to 2.14 total bases today.
Cal Raleigh OVER 1.5 TB (-105, FD) vs. KC
I'll wrap things up with a second Mariner against Lyles today. Cal Raleigh's wOBA has hung around .380 for the last two weeks, and he brings in a nice .345 wOBA against Lyles's pitch types in this one. He's 0-2 off of Lyles in his career, but I'm confident he gets after him today. Raleigh projects to a weighted .363 wOBA and 1.99 total bases in this one.
