Ryan Noda Returns From Illness
Ryan Noda (illness) is feeling better on Friday and is starting at first base and batting third in the lineup against the Boston Red Sox and left-hander Brennan Bernardino. Noda only ended up missing one game on Thursday due to a stomach illness. The 27-year-old left-handed hitter is currently on a four-game hitting streak in which he's gone 4-for-14 with a homer, double, four RBI and three runs scored. However, he'll also be facing a southpaw on the mound in his return. Noda is hitting .216 (8-for-37) in a limited sample size with only two of his nine home runs on the season against left-handed pitchers in 31 games played.
