PrizePicks MLB DFS Prop Picks - Today's Over/Under Props for Friday, June 30, 2023

Shane McClanahan - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News, Starting Pitchers

Today's PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Friday, June 30, 2023, by Kipp Heisterman. Use his MLB over/under props recommendations to win money on PrizePicks.

Welcome to our PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Friday, June 30, 2023. The 2023 MLB season is underway here at RotoBaller, and we have you covered with some terrific plays from our friends over at PrizePicks.

PrizePicks is a great DFS fantasy picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money.

Announcement: We have two awesome new Props Optimizers for the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and NCAA! The PrizePicks Optimizer and Prop Bets Optimizer are both available in our new Props Premium Package, which includes exclusive access to RotoBaller's VIP Discord chat rooms for props and betting.

Editor's Note: Stay on top of your draft prep with RotoBaller’s fantasy football rankings, featuring expert analysis, ADPs, and draft insights for both PPR and non-PPR leagues.

PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.

The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.

You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Dean Kremer more than 6.0 strikeouts

Kremer has a tremendous matchup tonight against the Twins as they are currently striking out at a clip of 28.3% vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks, which ranks second-worst in baseball. They are also pairing this with just a 6.3% walk rate. kremer has struck out at least six in four of his previous seven starts.

Osvaldo Bido more than 5.0 strikeouts

Bido has struck out at least five batters in all three of his starts to begin 2023. He will be up against the Brewers, who are striking out at a clip of 27.3% vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks, which ranks third-worst in baseball. They are also struggling to create runs vs. righties as noted by their lackluster 77 wRC+ mark over the same two weeks.

James Paxton more than 5.5 strikeouts

Paxton has been solid to begin his 2023 campaign as he has struck out at least six batters in five of his eight starts. While the matchup against Toronto is tough, they are posting a K rate of 24.1% vs. Southpaws over the previous two weeks. This number ranks them just outside the bottom half of the league in terms of K rate vs. lefties, which could be just enough for Paxton to turn in a solid strikeout performance.

Shane McClanahan more than 7.0 strikeouts

Shane has a superb matchup tonight as he will be up against a Mariners' squad that is striking out at a clip of 34.7% vs. left-handers over the previous two weeks, which ranks second-worst in baseball. It should be noted that this is definitely a tad risky as McClanahan has not eclipsed this total since late April, but it is not due to ineffectiveness as he has allowed two or fewer earned runs in six of his previous seven starts, which will bring me to my next point. Before betting on this prop, wait and see what his earned runs allowed number is later today when that is released as it could be 1.5-2.5, which is worth playing.
