Top Hitter Streamers - Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups and Starts for Week 14

Ha-Seong Kim - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Fantasy baseball hitter streamers and starts for Week 14 of the 2023 season. Dawn Tepper analyzes the top batter streamers to pick up.

Welcome to another week of sifting through top hitter streamers, RotoBallers! We are looking ahead at the top hitter streamers and starts for fantasy baseball Week 14 - Monday, June 26 through Sunday, July 2. For those new to this series, each week, our fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups column will identify hitters with good matchups and can be considered waiver wire streamers ahead of the Sunday night waiver wire runs for leagues with weekly transactions.

When you find yourself with a hole in your roster due to injury or otherwise, you need to find a week's worth of solid production from a new addition to your roster. That's where streaming comes in. Today, we will review potential hitters to stream in Week 14. Let's see which ones make the list.

We look into some hitters playing in most games and have favorable matchups to help you stay at the top as the season progresses. As always, check out the rest of our fantasy baseball streamer content after you read this piece!

What Teams Offer The Most Streaming Value?

Six teams play seven games between Monday, June 26, and Sunday, July 2. Those teams are:

  • Chicago White Sox
  • Detroit Tigers
  • Los Angeles Angels
  • Milwaukee Brewers
  • New York Mets
  • Texas Rangers

The Los Angeles Dodgers play just six games next week, but three are at Coors Field, and three are at Kauffman Stadium, where, starting on Monday, the temperatures will be in the 90s. Another California team is playing six games at hitter-friendly parks (four versus right-handed pitchers): the San Diego Padres. They play three games at PNC Park and three at Great American Ballpark.

Best Sub-50% Rostered Hitters for this Week

This week, the Tigers, Dodgers, Padres, Rangers, Mets, and White Sox have games with favorable matchups. Fantasy owners can utilize streamers between teams under 50% rostered.

  • DET @ COL, June 30-July 2
  • LAD @ COL, June 27-29
  • SD @ CIN, June 30-July 2
  • TEX vs. DET, June 26-29
  • NYM vs. MIL, June 26-29
  • CHW @ LAA, June 26-29

Week 14 Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers

Ha-Seong Kim, San Diego Padres (30% Rostered)

As noted above, the Padres are away from home all week but playing in hitter-friendly PNC Park and Great American Ball Park.

On the road and against right-handed pitchers (San Diego is facing four out of six righties next week), Kim is slashing .328/.429/.453 with a .882 OPS and a 150 wRC+.

TJ Friedl, Cincinnati Reds (21% Rostered)

The Reds are another team with six games next week, but they are all against right-handed pitchers, and three are in hitter-friendly Camden Yards, where next week's temperatures will be in the 80s (look out for thunderstorms, 'tis the season in the DMV).

Against righties this season, Friedl is slashing .309/.379/.481 with a .173 ISO and 127 wRC+.

Trent Grisham, San Diego Padres (4% rostered)

Yes, another Padre, but they have great matchups this week in hitter-friendly parks versus right-handed pitchers. In his last five games on the road, Grisham has a .316 batting average with six hits, an RBI, and a run scored.

Against left-handed pitchers on the road this season, Grisham is slashing .296/.406/.630 with a 1.036 OPS, .333 ISO, and a 176 wRC+.

Matt Thaiss, Los Angeles Angels (2% Rostered)

The Angels don't have the best matchups next week but hear me out. All seven games are at home versus right-handed pitchers and in that split, Thaiss has a .264 batting average with two home runs, 12 RBI, and a .808 OPS.

He has also shown some power with a .180 ISO and a 121 wRC+ versus righties at home.
