DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 2/15/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

Oscar Tshiebwe daily college fantasy basketball CFB DFS picks March Madness

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 2/15/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

We have 11 games today in our DraftKings tournaments. The early bird features Ole Miss heading to Gainesville to take on the Gators. We really get into the action at 7 pm with Bama heading up to Knoxville to take on the Vols. Xavier heads to Beer City, USA to take on Marquette. The Seminoles head for the mountains of South Carolina to take on Clemson. The Hoos are in Louisville to take on the Cardinals. We have a battle of Tech schools in Hotlanta with the Virginia version taking on the Georgia version.

We have to wait an hour and a half for the next tip in StarkVegas with Kentucky visiting the Bulldogs. The 9 pm hour gives us Arkansas in College Station taking on the Aggies. We have Indiana invading Evanston to take on Northwestern. TCU heads to Ames for some Hilton Magic. We close this out on the left coast with Oregon taking on the Huskies in Seattle. This is going to be a good one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/15/23, starting at 6:30 pm Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Colby Jones, Xavier ($8,800)

Souley Boom is expected to play through the ankle sprain, but judging by his recent stat lines, the ankle is still bugging him. Jones has picked up the slack, racking up at least 29 DraftKings points in six straight games. He hasn't shot worse than 40% from the floor in any of those games despite taking double-digit shots in all but one of them. Jones border on an elite scorer and has upped his rebounding game as well. He had a strong game against Marquette in the first meeting. I'm expecting another one here.

Tyler Kolek, Marquette ($8,000)

Kolek lit up the Muskies for 44 DraftKings points in the first meeting on January 15. Since that game, Kolek has at least 24 DraftKings points in every game, has broken 40 twice more, and even topped 55 against DePaul. It's not just the scoring, but it does help that Kolek has more than his 11.6 points per game average on the season in each of his last five games and in seven of the last eight. It's also the big assist numbers. Kolek has eight or more assists in four of the last six games.

Tamin Lipsey, Iowa State ($6,300)

The freshman has played his way into a more prominent role for the Cyclones lately. Lipsey has at least 20 DraftKings points in each of the last four games and has played more than 30 minutes in all but the West Virginia game in which he fouled out. He is taking more shots and has been more aggressive on the boards. He also put up 10 assists in the upset of Kansas. Lipsey is oozing upside right now.

Tyreke Key, Tennessee ($4,400)

Key is back into the starting lineup after missing time with an illness and playing limited minutes in his first few games back. That's a rather distant memory now that Key has played 28 minutes over the last two games and picked up 59.75 DraftKings points in that span. DraftKings hasn't adjusted his price accordingly, so Key should be a staple in most lineups. We'll get different elsewhere.

Also consider: Wade Taylor IV, Texas A&M ($8,400); Damion Baugh, TCU ($7,900); Anthony Black, Arkansas ($7,200); Ricky Council IV, Arkansas ($6,900); Kyle Lofton, Florida ($6,000); Riley Kugel, Florida ($5,500); Brevin Galloway, Clemson ($5,300); Noah Williams, Washington ($4,800); Isaac McKneely, Virginia ($4,400); Rylan Griffen, Alabama ($4,200); MJ Collins, Virginia Tech ($3,500)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana ($11,500)

TJD has been the best player in college basketball for around two months now. Only Penn State has held him under 45 DraftKings points in a game since Christmas. This Northwestern team allowed one of the best games of his entire career back on January 8 when TJD lit them up for 18 points, grabbed a staggering 24 rebounds, and threw in eight assists and four blocks just for good measure. Everything in that stat line is repeatable with the exception of the rebounds, but considering that TJD averages 11 per game, he's still good for a double-double and 50 DraftKings points for the floor.

Grant Basile, Virginia Tech ($9,100)

The Hokies are storming the castle where those safely inside the NCAA Tournament field reside. Leading the charge is Basile, who has at least 30 DraftKings points in six straight games, going over 40 in four of those and even topping 50 against Boston College. The Hokies have knocked off Duke, Syracuse, Virginia, and Notre Dame during that stretch. This is a great matchup against Georgia Tech. Basile probably won't outscore TJD, but he could come close at a huge discount.

Makhel Mitchell, Arkansas ($5,800)

Mitchell joined the starting lineup against this Aggies team back on January 31 and hasn't left it since. He bullied the Aggies for 41.25 DraftKings points in that game and has been holding one-man block parties since. Mitchell isn't much of a scorer, but he's a good rebounder and an elite rim protector. He has a nice upside with the gobs of peripheral stats that he earns as a starter.

Robert Allen, Mississippi ($4,600)

Ole Miss could have some issues up front with Castleton, but the Rebels went after Tshiebwe and Toppin by putting Allen in the starting lineup in the Kentucky game at the end of January and have ridden him since. Allen isn't the most efficient shooter, but he's a good rebounder and a sneaky-good passer. If he gets that shooting percentage up, he could have big games in this price range.

Also consider: Colin Castleton, Florida ($10,300); Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky ($10,200); Justyn Mutts, Virginia Tech ($8,500); N'Faly Dante, Oregon ($7,800); Ja'Von Franklin, Georgia Tech ($7,100); Jae'lyn Withers, Louisville ($5,900); David Joplin, Marquette ($5,500); Ben Vander Plas, Virginia ($5,300); Kel'el Ware, Oregon ($4,100)
