Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin had a great night cut short by injury Thursday versus Florida, as he racked up two points in a 4-2 victory before leaving with a knee injury. Before scoring a power-play goal 8:05 into the third period, a shot by Sidney Crosby hit Malkin's right knee and he left the game soon after. The veteran star also had one power-play assist in the contest. Luckily the initial reports are suggesting that it's not a serious injury and Malkin should soon be in action again. The Russian centerman has strung together a seven-game point streak and is having a wonderful campaign with 31 points in 30 games. --Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
