BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 13% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: It is a wild and wooly situation in the Seattle Seahawks backfield as we inch closer to Week 14 of the NFL season.
Currently, Seattle's top three RBs - Kenneth Walker III, DeeJay Dallas, and Travis Homer - are all dealing with injuries. Both Walker and Dallas were forced from last week's game against the Rams with injuries and are not currently practicing, while Homer missed Week 13, but did manage to get in a limited practice on Wednesday.
The fourth member of this banged-up Seattle backfield is Tony Jones Jr., who is currently the only Seahawk back that has no injury concerns. Jones played a relief role in last week's win over L.A., logging 32 total yards on 11 opportunities.
After a college career at Notre Dame, Jones spent the first two seasons of his professional career with the New Orleans Saints organization. He was claimed off waivers by Seattle earlier this season and has primarily served in a special teams role during his time with the Seahawks.
Jones is the low man on the totem pole in this backfield and would be deployed in the starting role as a last resort. However, with Walker and Dallas both looking doubtful - and Homer still working back from his own injury - Jones could realistically play a significant role in this week's matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
Fantasy managers willing to gamble can stash the third-year RB on their benches as they wait for the Seattle situation to unfold throughout the week.
