Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon (upper body) won't be in the lineup on Tuesday against Calgary, with head coach Jared Bednar announcing that his star man has returned to Denver for re-evaluation. Not a lot is known about MacKinnon's injury, but it's believed that he was hurt in a fight with Minnesota's Matt Dumba on Sunday. MacKinnon has already missed 19 games for various reasons this season and it appears that another spell on the sidelines is on the horizon. Nazem Kadri will take over as the first-line center on Tuesday and Alex Newhook will jump into his spot on the second line. The second line will also feature Artturi Lehkonen, who will finally get a chance to make his team debut following his move from Montreal.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
