2025 Fantasy Football: Week 10 Waiver Wire Adds
Trey Benson, RB - Cardinals
The second-year running back out of Florida State has been on the IR since Week 4. However, with a potential return set for Week 10, Benson has entered must-roster territory. With James Conner (foot) out for the remainder of the season, Benson is expected to serve as the workhorse of the entire second half. While he has been sidelined, the Cardinals have leaned on a committee approach between Emari Demercado, Bam Knight, and Michael Carter.
Neither running back has emerged, which should pave the way for Benson to see a near three-down role when active. Early this season, Benson appeared to be on the fast track to a breakout campaign, as he posted an elite 5.5 YPC throughout four weeks. When active, he will carry high-end RB2 upside.
Tyjae Spears, RB - Titans
Tyjae Spears opened the season in the IR, which allowed Tony Pollard to operate as the team's clear workhorse. However, over his last four games, Spears has seen an increase in workload and is slowly taking over the backfield. Since Week 6, Spears has logged more than 50% of the snaps in two games and has out-snapped Pollard in two games as well.
During this stretch, Spears is averaging 10.6 PPR points per game (6.5 attempts per game, 3.5 targets per game) while Pollard has posted a lower 8.6 PPR points per game mark (9.3 attempts per game, 3.0 targets per game).
With Pollard's name on the trade block, Spears is a must-roster heading into Week 10.

Troy Franklin, WR, Broncos
Could there be a changing of the guard in Denver? Since Week 7, Franklin has seen 28 total targets compared to Courtland Sutton's 22. In addition, Franklin has seen more targets in two of these games and tallied more receptions in two as well.
While Sutton sits as a key part of this offense, the second-year wideout is beginning to carve out a more consistent role. Given his growing target share, Franklin could carry high-end Flex upside on a weekly basis and is a priority target for those needing immediate help at the WR position.
Tory Horton, WR, Seahawks
Another young WR that took a significant step forward in Week 9 was Tory Horton. With Cooper Kupp (heel) out of the lineup, the fifth-round rookie did not disappoint in his first game in a full-time role. During their demanding victory over the Commanders, Horton caught all four of his targets for 48 yards and two touchdowns.
Through his first seven games, Horton had a low target share but showed high TD upside, catching nine of his 19 targets for 113 yards and three scores. Given Kupp's declining play this season and now potential lingering injury, Horton could become the team's No. 2 WR for the foreseeable future. With his elite TD upside, he is a must-add this week.
While the Seahawks did add Rashid Shaheed before the trade deadline, Horton has flashed immense upside and should continue to have a near every-down role, as long as Kupp is sidelined.

Parker Washington, WR, Jaguars
With Travis Hunter (knee) being placed on the IR on Friday, Parker Washington operated as the team's WR2 on Sunday. However, Washington not only outplayed Brian Thomas Jr. in this game, but Thomas also left with an ankle injury, which could pave the way for Washington to be Trevor Lawrence's go-to option for the foreseeable future.
Even with Thomas on the field, Washington earned more targets, catching an impressive eight of his nine targets for 90 yards. Thomas caught just three of his five targets for a mere 55 yards.
Even if Thomas were to avoid a serious injury and play in Week 10, Washington has continued to earn targets from Lawrence. Since Week 3, Washington has seen at least nine targets in three games and is averaging 6.5 targets per game, despite operating as the WR3 throughout most of this stretch behind Thomas and Hunter. He is a prime target to carry solid WR3 upside with the potential to enter WR2 territory if Thomas misses time.
While the Jaguars opted to acquire veteran Jakobi Meyers earlier on Tuesday, Washington has shown a strong connection with Lawrence and could still see the majority of the targets during the second half.

Colston Loveland, TE, Bears
After weeks of typically operating as the No. 2 TE behind Cole Kmet, the former 10th overall pick finally enjoyed a breakout showing.
During their thrilling victory over the Bengals, Loveland caught six of his seven targets for 118 yards and two touchdowns. He played the hero, bringing in a 58-yard TD reception in the final minute of the contest. While Kmet played in only 24% of the snaps last Sunday, he could see his role increase as he works his way back from injury, which could slightly limit Loveland's long-term upside.
However, Loveland is worth rostering in all 12-team leagues, especially for managers who just lost Tucker Kraft to a season-ending ACL injury.
Tez Johnson, WR, Buccaneers
The final player we will look at this week is rookie wideout Tez Johnson of the Buccaneers. The Buccaneers had a much-needed week in Week 9. Their offense is dealing with a long list of injuries, including starting running back Bucky Irving (foot) and top wideouts Mike Evans (collarbone) and Chris Godwin (fibula). Evans is set to miss the remainder of the season, while Godwin could return in the near future.
However, given Godwin's injury timeline, Johnson could remain the team's WR2 for the time being. In their Week 8 victory over the Saints, Johnson led the team in yards and brought in five of his six targets. Since Week 5, Johnson has seen 5.5 targets per game and tallied a solid 51.3 yards per game.
Given his role in a high-powered offense, Johnson could carry solid FLEX upside for the time being, while Godwin remains sidelined.
