Yahoo! Quarterback - Week 11 DFS Picks

Aaron Rodgers (at WAS, $35)

In case you haven't noticed I've had A-a-ron as one of my QB's every week for the past month. This is because the Packers running game is virtually non existent and their defense has been more shredded than Swiss cheese. They do get Clay Matthews back this week but I expect more of the same. This means a ton of attempts for Rodgers, which will more than likely lead to a boatload of yards and multiple TD's. When opportunity meets talent we have DFS gold. Make sure it's at the end of your rainbow and in your lineups.

Tyrod Taylor (at CIN, $34)

If you're going to fade Rodgers then I like Tyrod Taylor against the Bengals in Cincinnati this week. Not only do the Bengals allow nearly 260 passing yards per game, but they also allow over 116 rushing yards per game, and much of that is to opposing QB's. I think Taylor is a good bet to amass the yards through the air and on the ground this week with a couple of TD's to go with them. Plus, with all the good matchups out there TT is more likely to be a contrarian selection; which is almost always a good thing in large tournaments.

Yahoo! Running Backs - Week 11 DFS Picks

Le'Veon Bell (at CLE, $40)

Bell has averaged a stellar 19.3 FPPG this season. This week he faces the porous Browns defense, so that number is almost certainly going to go up. This is because Cleveland has allowed the second most rushing yards per game this season, a staggering 143.7 per game. It also helps that Cleveland's pass defense is suspect, as they allow over 275 yards passing per game, so Bell will likely gash them there as well. In three of his last five game, Le'Veon has had nine or more receptions, and six receptions in the other two. I expect a ton of touches against a terrible defense that will likely lead to huge yardage totals and multiple TD's. Opportunity plus talent folks. All day, everyday.

Todd Gurley (vs MIA, $21)

Todd Gurley has largely been a disappointment this season as he's averaged only 11.2 FPPG after having a rather impressive rookie season. That could change this week as Gurley and the Rams host the Dolphins and their 28th ranked rush defense (in the rushing yards per game department). The Rams play a grind it out style of football and that combined with the state of the Dolphins defense should lead to a floor of 20-25 carries for Gurley on Sunday. Todd should also notch a handful of receptions and with his talent I expect him to turn those 25+ touches into a good amount of yardage and hopefully a TD or more. At just $21 he could be a huge value play in GPP's, so join me and get him into some of your lineups.

Yahoo! Wide Receivers - Week 11 DFS Picks

Davante Adams (at WAS, $23)

As I mentioned above in the Rodgers blurb I expect the Packers to come out passing once again and that bodes well for Adams. Not only has Davante been a solid possession receiver for Green Bay, but he's also been their leading receiver when it comes to big plays. On top of that Adams has been targeted a bunch as he's amassed 47 targets over the past four games. Look for another 8-12 targets this week coming from one of the best QB's in the league. At $23 I can't pass up Adam's floor. Not only has he been steady and reliable, but his ceiling is rather high too.

Eddie Royal/Cameron Meredith (at NYG, $13, $12)

I've decided to go with a pair of players here as both are solid plays. You can stack them up and almost certainly get value in every format; unless you get Cutler'd out in the middle of nowhere (there's always a chance of that with smokin' Jay). The Giants have allowed over 267 passing yards per game this season. With Alshon Jeffery out, it appears that Eddie and Cameron are the best targets for Cutler and the Bears on Sunday. While both are somewhat risky they both have a good deal of upside and you can't beat that combination at their prices. If you want to choose between the two of them Royal is the much safer play, but Meredith has more upside. I expect Eddie to get more targets, but Cameron's targets will likely be further down the field.

Yahoo! Tight End - Week 11 DFS Picks

Jordan Reed (vs GB, $25)

I usually tend to spend lightly at the TE position unless it's a slam dunk and this is about as Vince Carter as it gets. Not only is the Packers secondary depleted, but they also deploy the Dom Capers "leave the middle of the field wide open defense" as a result of using their safeties to help the corner backs. The Packers do that more than any other team in the NFL and I fully expect the Redskins to exploit it. As a result we will almost certainly see Reed running up the seam on several occasions on his way to a huge day yardage wise. I also expect him Jordan to find the end zone at least once in what will almost certainly be a high scoring affair.

Yahoo! Defense - Week 11 DFS Picks

Detroit Lions D/ST (vs JAX, $13)

When in doubt pick a defense that plays against Blake Bortles, the gift that keeps on giving. Bortles has already tossed 11 interceptions this season and I love playing a defense against him when his team is the underdog on the road. At just $13 the Lions present a cheap selection that will almost certainly be a solid value and could be a nice upside play as well given the matchup. This is a defense that has averaged six FPPG at home this season. That number should rise after this weekend.
