ANALYSIS: Xavier Legette recorded just two catches for 12 yards in Week 7 against the Washington Commanders. He was targeted three times and rushed once for six yards.
This performance was part of a broader offensive struggle for the Carolina Panthers, who lost 40-7. It also marked Legette's lowest receiving total of the season. Only one teammate managed more than two receptions in that game.
The #Panthers have ruled WR Diontae Johnson OUT with a rib injury.

With Andy Dalton sidelined due to a thumb injury, Bryce Young will take over as the starting quarterback again. Young has replaced Dalton late in two of the past three games. Diontae Johnson is listed as out for Week 8, joining Adam Thielen. Despite all of this, Legette will not see the volume to become an asset for fantasy football.
This week, the Panthers face the Denver Broncos. The Broncos allow the second-fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers. Given the current state of the Carolina offense and the tough matchup, it is wise to keep Legette on your bench this week. There are no compelling reasons to start him in fantasy lineups.
