With injuries to running backs Marshawn Lynch and replacement Thomas Rawls, the Seattle Seahawks have relied heavily on the passing game, especially in the last few weeks. Wide Receiver Doug Baldwin has quickly gone from average fantasy football point-getter to becoming a household name and a must-start.
His performance has elevated to extreme levels in the past four weeks. In those four games, Baldwin has scored 10 touchdowns tying him for a league leading 13 total touchdowns for the season. According to the Seattle Seahawks official injury report, Baldwin didn’t practice Wednesday due to an injured hamstring. This injury will have to be closely monitored throughout the week, but if he does play he would have to be considered a WR1 with the crazy hot streak he has been on.
Speaking of hot streaks, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin has once again put himself on the fantasy football map with his play as of late. Maclin, who was slumping towards the middle part of the season, has come alive in the past four games.

Maclin and the Chiefs are looking ahead to a good Week 16 match-up against the not-so-good Cleveland Browns. Look for Maclin to continue to get plenty of looks from Alex Smith and slide J-Mac right into your WR2 slot.
Another up-and-coming receiver in the fantasy football world is Detroit Lions wide-out Golden Tate. Mr. Tate is looking more like the go-to receiver in Detroit these days as he is starting to get more targets and better stats than Megatron. His stats for the past four games are 30 catches for 218 yards and five touchdowns.
Although he isn’t typically going to be the deep-threat, Golden will continue to catch a lot of balls underneath and has the knack for catching touchdowns lately. In PPR leagues he should definitely have plenty of value. A juicy match-up for Week 16 against the San Francisco 49ers awaits. The WR2 slot would be an appropriate assessment, and feel confident that he will at worst catch a bunch of passes.
