Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 7:
Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers continues to make a case for a waiver-wire pickup after Sunday's 26-19 overtime win over Tampa Bay. Rodgers completed 33 of 49 passes for 253 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, marking his fourth straight game with multiple touchdown passes.
The veteran has thrown 12 touchdowns through six starts, providing consistent fantasy production over the past month despite offering little as a runner. Rodgers faces New Orleans in Week 7 and remains a viable streaming option for fantasy managers seeking quarterback help, although his limited rushing upside caps his ceiling.
C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans
Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud had a strong day in London, leading the team to a 34-31 Week 6 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Stroud completed 24 out of 34 passes (70.6%) for 312 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Stroud added one rushing attempt for five yards.
While Stroud threw an interception in the end zone to Jaguars cornerback Travis Hunter with under four minutes to play, it did not end up costing the Texans the game, and Stroud carved up the Jacksonville defense throughout the day. He connected on a touchdown pass with wide receiver Jaylin Noel and found tight end Foster Moreau for two scores. Stroud is playing well and has an ideal matchup against the New York Giants in Week 7. He should be started in all formats.
Kyler Murray, Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray is coming off his best performance of the season in Week 5. He completed 24-of-30 passing attempts for 229 yards with one touchdown and zero interceptions in the win over the New Orleans Saints. The Vikings were on bye last week, so Murray is well rested ahead of the Week 7 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
The hope is that Jordan Addison (hamstring) and T.J. Hockenson (concussion) will be available for this weekend. If the Vikings are at full force, Murray is looking like a strong streaming option against the Colts' shaky defense. The dual-threat quarterback has done enough to warrant a look, especially for fantasy managers who need someone with their quarterbacks on bye.
Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton said he has not considered making a change at quarterback after Bo Nix's struggles through the first six weeks of the 2026 season, according to Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports. "[Bo Nix's] going to become the byproduct of all of the things that get improved," Payton said. Nix, the former 12th overall pick in 2024 from Oregon, has played uninspired football so far this year, although the Broncos are 4-2 and in second place in the AFC West standings.
The 26-year-old has completed 60.3% of his pass attempts for 1,049 yards, six touchdowns, and three interceptions while adding 22 rushing attempts for 37 yards and one touchdown. A report surfaced on Sunday explaining that the switch of offensive verbiage from original play-caller Davis Webb to Payton has been the primary source of Nix's struggles early this year.
Nix has been hesitant to attack downfield and has established very little chemistry with new receiver Jaylen Waddle, who the Broncos gave up a first-round pick for. He has thrown for under 200 yards in four of the first six games, but he does have a prime opportunity to bounce back on the road in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals.
Kirk Cousins, Las Vegas Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins put on a show during Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. The veteran quarterback took advantage of the Bills' shaky secondary as he threw for over 300 passing yards. Cousins completed 23-of-41 passing attempts for 313 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in the loss.
The veteran quarterback connected with wide receiver Tre Tucker for a 44-yard touchdown inside of two minutes left in the game, but sadly it wasn't enough. The Bills' offense was too strong this weekend, but Cousins still put on a show offensively. He should be a borderline QB1 for next week's matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
