Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 11:
Jacoby Brissett, QB, Arizona Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett has been a reliable fantasy option in every game he has started so far, and he will look to maintain his success during Sunday's Week 11 contest against the San Francisco 49ers. In four starts with Kyler Murray (foot) sidelined, Brissett has totaled 1,118 passing yards, eight passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, one interception, and three lost fumbles.
During that span, he ranks as the overall QB9 in fantasy points per game. The veteran signal-caller handled a very tough test last week against the Seahawks, and so he remains an intriguing fantasy option this week in a slightly softer matchup against the Niners.
San Francisco has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points and sixth-most touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks in 2025. The 49ers' defense has also forced just one interception, which is the second-fewest in the NFL. Brissett is a low-end QB1 who can be started in most leagues this week.
Bo Nix, QB, Denver Broncos
Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix will face division rival Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11 at home. Nix is going to have a difficult matchup, as the Chiefs currently rank ninth in total yards allowed per game, with an average of 291.8, and seventh in passing yards allowed, with an average of 187.2.
In Week 10, Nix ended his fourth-quarter magic streak and marked his second consecutive game with under 200 yards passing on the day. With running back J.K. Dobbins (foot) being out with an injury this week, it's possible that the Broncos could put more pressure on Nix to get the passing attack back in a flow state, although the Chiefs will make it difficult to do that.
As RotoBaller's QB21 for Week 11, Nix is a solid option in Superflex leagues, but managers might want to look elsewhere in single QB formats in Week 11.
Aaron Rodgers, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is coming off his worst performance of the season but is primed to bounce back against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11. When Rodgers last faced the Bengals in Week 7, he delivered over 24 fantasy points with four touchdown passes in a road loss.
Cincinnati has struggled defensively, surrendering the most points per contest in the NFL this year, so it's no surprise that this divisional showdown is expected to be one of the highest-scoring matchups of the week.
Though Pittsburgh's offense has been inconsistent, it should be able to find its footing at home on Sunday. Rodgers can be viewed as a high-end streaming option with fringe top-12 value this week.
J.J. McCarthy, QB, Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy is a solid Superflex candidate with his team set to face the Chicago Bears in Week 11. The second-year quarterback led a furious comeback in the Week 1 meeting between the two teams in which he accounted for three total touchdowns in the fourth quarter, and the Chicago defense continues to rank among the bottom of the barrel against fantasy quarterbacks.
McCarthy is a work in progress as a passer, but encouragingly for managers, he's developed a nice rushing floor in his limited time with the Vikings. He rushed for a touchdown in two of his four starts and ran for 48 yards on only five carries last week against the Ravens.
Certainly, some volatility is to be expected from a first-time starter, but McCarthy is already playable in two-quarterback leagues and could have additional week-to-week value with favorable matchups.
Sam Darnold, QB, Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold is not someone you should look to stream this week. Darnold has been on a tear of late. He has been lighting up opposing defenses left and right. Week 11 will present the toughest task of the season. Seattle will travel to Los Angeles to face an excellent Rams defense.
The Rams are No. 9 against opposing quarterbacks in fantasy this season. They have allowed some wide receivers to get loose, but quarterbacks have been stifled. Additionally, despite the excellent nature of both of these offenses, the real defining factor in this game will be each team's defense.
As such, this could be a lower-scoring game than anticipated or desired. Darnold's overall passing volume could be much lower than usual. With that in mind, it is best to look elsewhere at quarterback this week. Darnold checks in as a mid-tier QB2. However, roster Darnold through this matchup because better days are ahead.
