Should I Start Brock Purdy For Fantasy Football?
The San Francisco 49ers lost Christian McCaffrey (knee) and Jordan Mason (ankle) for the rest of the regular season in Week 13. That means Purdy and the passing game will have to carry the offense. The third-year pro is the QB14 for the season, averaging 17.2 fantasy points per game.
Purdy has 13 passing touchdowns this year after ranking among the league leaders in 2023. He has had one or fewer passing scores in 72.7% of the games, including zero in two of his past five contests. Unfortunately, the veteran faces a Chicago Bears defense on Sunday that has held quarterbacks to 12.7 fantasy points per game, the second-fewest in the NFL.

Should I Start Jordan Love For Fantasy Football?
Unfortunately, Love has dealt with multiple lower-body injuries this season. Yet, he is the QB17 for the year, averaging 17.4 fantasy points per game, totaling 20 passing touchdowns. While the former Utah State star has had some poor fantasy performances, Love has played well since the bye week.

The star quarterback has averaged 232.7 passing yards, 1.7 touchdowns, and 18 fantasy points per game over the past three weeks. Love faces the Detroit Lions tonight in a massive NFC North matchup. The Lions have held quarterbacks to 14.4 fantasy points per game, the sixth-fewest in the NFL this season.
Should I Start Geno Smith For Fantasy Football?
While Smith has finished the year as a top-5 quarterback in the past, the veteran has had an up-and-down 2024 season. He is the QB12 for the year, averaging 16 fantasy points per game. However, Smith has struggled lately.
The veteran quarterback has averaged one passing touchdown and 14.2 fantasy points per game over his past five contests, totaling 15.7 or fewer in all but one matchup. Furthermore, Smith offers little fantasy upside with his legs, totaling two rushing touchdowns this season. Unfortunately, he faces an Arizona Cardinals defense on Sunday that held him to only 12.4 fantasy points in their matchup two weeks ago.
