Week 8 NFL DFS Stacks for DraftKings, FanDuel - Top Daily Fantasy Football Picks Include Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, Lamar Jackson, and Zay Flowers

Lamar Jackson - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Dawn's Week 8 NFL DFS stacks for FanDuel, DraftKings GPPs, and the 2024 NFL season. Target these GPP stacks as daily fantasy football lineup picks and sleepers.

Welcome to Week 8 of NFL DFS stacks for DraftKings and FanDuel. It's Week 8 of the NFL season, and the drama continues! Jerry Jones said Derrick Henry might not have had the same success if he had been on their roster because he might not have fit their system. Davante Adams was traded to the Jets; they still lost. Robert Saleh is now on the Packers' sideline as a "floating" coach. Get your popcorn ready and let's dig in!

This article will focus on Sunday's 1 p.m. main slate for DraftKings and FanDuel. Last week, I targeted the Falcons, Packers, and Vikings. Who I didn't target was Jahmyr Gibbs, who broke the slate after David Montgomery went down in the first quarter against the Vikings. Chalky stacks this week include the Lions, Texans, and Miami. Let's see who looks good for tournaments!

I'll be here all season to talk stacks and strategy (@dawntepper). Who do I think is due for a breakout game this week? Let's find out! These are my favorite game stacks for the NFL DFS slate on DraftKings and FanDuel, which kicks off at 1:00 p.m. EDT on Sunday, October 26.

Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns

almost changed this to a Browns stack, given the Ravens have allowed 25.7 PPG to opponents this season; 30.7 in the last three. But guess what? The Browns' stacks are higher-owned than the Ravens' and given the turnovers that are guaranteed to happen with Winston, the Ravens could run away with this one.

I listed Bateman ahead of Henry because the Browns are allowing the sixth-highest FPPG (37.5) to wide receivers. At Henry's price and stats that everyone else will be seeing, his ownership will be very low. As we know, he is unstoppable and it could be a day to stack Lamar and King Henry (only) with both Jeudy and Chief Njoku as bring-backs.

Bring-back option:

Honestly, win or lose, Jameis Winston and a Jeudy/Njoku stack could rack up the points against a Ravens team that has won five in a row, but is allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Cincinnati Bengals

A.J. Brown is back, the Bengals have allowed 26.3 receptions per game in their last three games, and Saquon Barkley's "Put Some Respect On My Name," scorched-earth tour continues. While the Bengals are allowing fewer rushing yards allowed per game (123.7 in the last three, down from 136), Barkley has been unstoppable and at his price, could keep his ownership on the lower side.

This could also be a game to fade Barkley, especially if you are in an MME GPP. If you fade Barkley, who are you adding? How about DeVonta Smith? Want to get crazier? Stack Hurts, Brown, and Dallas Goedert (watch injury report) or Grant Calcaterra. Cincinnati has allowed 14.8 PPG to tight ends this season, the fourth-highest in the league.

Goedert hasn't found the end zone this season, but with 301 receiving yards and 24 catches, he's certainly due. Will a tight end break the slate this week? It just might happen, folks.

Bring-back option(s):

New York Jets at New England Patriots

In their last three games, New England has allowed 29.3 points per game, a number that has ticked up from 25 for the season. Breece Hall is likely to have high ownership, but he might be the only Jet with a significant share of it. A Rodgers-Hall stack might be sneaky and would still pair Rodgers with his best catch-an-run receiver.

The Patriots are allowing 29.4 fantasy ppg to opposing running backs and with Breece Hall at just $7.3 on DK ($7.9FD), he'll be chalky but if breaks the slate, it won't matter. If you want to be different, and assuming the Jets win, use only Rodgers and Hall, as Rodgers could be peppering the ball all over the place and even run one in for good measure.

Bring-back option:

  • Hunter Henry (DK $3.8K, FD $5.3K)
I wouldn't bring anyone back but if you just can't stack without a bring-back (see what I did there?), Hunter Henry could be your man.

Good luck in your tournaments, and see you next week!
