Week 7 Kicker Streamers and Starts - 2022 Fantasy Tiers, Rankings

Harrison Butker - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Kickers

Jackson Sparks breaks down all 2022 fantasy football Week 7 kickers - streamers, starts, sits, targets, avoids, and waiver wire pickups. His Week 7 rankings and tiers for all of the NFL kickers.

Although we have six weeks worth of data to help us with our start/sit decisions for fantasy kickers, bye weeks, injuries, and matchups will change the outlooks of the streamer-level players at this position.  Our Week 7 kicker rankings aim to help fantasy managers sort through all the variables that come with the kicker spot in fantasy football and make the right choice in lineups.

Greg Joseph, Tyler Bass, Jake Elliott, and Matt Gay are all on bye weeks, so their fantasy owners should be searching for a one-week replacement. Some of the stud kickers like Harrison Butker, Matt Prater, Dustin Hopkins, and Robbie Gould have been on injury reports lately, but all could be active for Week 7.

Fantasy managers who drafted a kicker early be looking at kicker rankings often, but it's always a good idea to have a general idea of what's going on at the position that doesn't get much publicity.

Kicker Streamers to Target for Week 7

Only players who are rostered in fewer than 50% of fantasy football leagues are considered streamers.

Nick Folk, New England Patriots (vs. Chicago Bears)

Folk remains a top-12 fantasy kicker through six weeks, but the fantasy football community hasn't been excited to pick him up. The New England offense isn't special, but Folk is essentially a lock to make every field goal from inside 50 yards. This game could turn into a field goal battle, so he's in play once again for Week 7.

Jason Myers, Seattle Seahawks (at Los Angeles Chargers)

Myers is a top-five fantasy kicker entering Week 7, yet he's only rostered in about 10 percent of fantasy football leagues. The Seattle Seahawks offense has far exceeded expectations, and this matchup with the Chargers could be an all-out shootout with the highest projected point total of the week. Myers is a great candidate to produce top-10 numbers among kickers.

Greg Zuerlein, New York Jets (at Denver Broncos)

Zuerlein was once an elite fantasy kicker as a member of the Rams, and he's back as a top-15 fantasy kicker in 2022 with the New York Jets. The Jets' offense is full of explosive play-makers and the team as a whole is a formidable unit at a 4-2 record. As long as the Jets keep scoring points, he should be on the fantasy radar, especially with a game in the Denver altitude coming up.

Kicker Busts to Avoid for Week 7

Mason Crosby, Green Bay Packers (at Washington Commanders)

Crosby is heavily rostered based on name recognition, but he's far from a great option in fantasy football. The Green Bay Packers offense is as bad as it's been in a decade, and Crosby ranks outside the top 20 kickers in total fantasy points. Aaron Rodgers could get the offense clicking here, but there are a lot of better options than Crosby, so don't take that bet.

Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers (at Miami Dolphins)

Like Crosby, Boswell is a long-time kicker with name recognition, but he's on a bad team with a struggling offense, so it's tough to trust him with so many better options on the Week 7 slate. Whether Mitchell Trubisky or Kenny Pickett (head) starts, look to someone else to provide some production in your lineup.
