BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 29% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The New York Jets suffered a loss at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks and got eliminated from postseason contention even with QB Mike White back leading the team on Sunday. That overshadowed everything else, obviously, but Tyler Conklin shined in his best non-TD-scoring performance of the season.
Conklin had already had another 10+ PPR game earlier this year with it happening all the way back on Week 8, more than two months ago. He finished catching 6-of-10 targets for 79 yards while scoring 2 TDs hosting the Patriots. Conklin basically mimicked that outcome his past Sunday--without the scores, though.
The Jets' tight end was automatic at catching the rock, hauling in 6-of-6 targets for a total of 80 receiving yards but no touchdowns on the game. The 14-PPR tally, though, is his second-highest of the season and helped him enter the TE1 realm for the third time this year after having done so in W8 and later in W14 (7.8 PPR in W14).
New York is cooked and playing for nothing more than improving its draft position, but it's not that there is an abundance of young TEs in the roster to see what they have around so Conklin should keep getting his 40-to-50 snaps and finding some targets to catch in the final matchup of the season.
