ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Tutu Atwell wasn’t on fantasy football radars heading into the 2024 season. However, injuries to Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua have opened the door for Atwell to have fantasy value.
The veteran wide receiver has averaged four receptions on 5.5 targets for 87.5 receiving yards and 10.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game over the first two weeks, totaling 10.2 in both contests. Furthermore, Atwell’s 3.48 yards per route run average is the second-highest among wide receivers this season (per Fantasy Points Data).

With the bye weeks starting in Week 5, fantasy players need to look for replacement options off the waiver wire. Atwell is the perfect bye-week filler for fantasy players, with A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, or Amon-Ra St. Brown unavailable this upcoming week.
He faces a Green Bay Packers defense that struggled to slow down the Minnesota Vikings passing attack in Week 4. Atwell is a solid WR3 with upside this week. Fantasy players in a pinch should add him off the waiver wire and start him against the Packers.
