BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 19% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: It's hard to find a weirder season for a rookie in the history of the league. Everything started on draft day when Burks looked like a stud. Then the summer camp problems arrived. Then Burks was good-not-great to start the year (back-to-back performances at around 8.5-PPR points). Then, Burks missed six weeks (including Tennessee's bye) from W5 to W9 included. And now, he's finally back, playing some 50% snaps, and doing his (expected) thing.
Burks didn't have quite a phenomenal comeback game in Week 10 but the usage and the volume at least were there: six targets of which he hauled in three for 24 yards (and a 5.4 PPR score). Good for those trusting Burks, he delivered the goodies last TNF with an extraordinary eight-target, seven-reception, 111-yard outing at Green Bay.
Playing in his second game since he went down just four weeks into the season, Burks put up 18.1 PPR points against the Packers. That's tied for the seventh-best performance by a rookie WR this season through TNF, with all of them into the WR1 realm.
Burks has definitely played below the expectations through the first half of the season 1) missing time and 2) underperforming widely given his draft position and the role he was expected to assume on the Titans offense.
Now that QB Ryan Tannehill is back and playing his best football of the season, and that Burks has put up back-to-back reasonably good games, you can trust Burks ROS as your WR3/Flex option at the very least.
