BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 51% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Nightmarish season for the Giants. It feels like every time Big Blue gets a player back, another one goes down injured. This past weekend it was Sterling Shepard's time to come back... only for Kadarious Toney to get banged up and out. It's been the same with Kenny Golladay, Darius Slayton, Saquon Barkley, etc... Anyway, the good news is that Shepard is back and he hasn't lost a step from his last full-game-played exploits.
Shepard scored 24.3 PPR points in Week 1 and another tasty 17.5 tally in Week 2, only to see him out of the third game of the year after playing just 24 snaps and getting a 3-2-16 receiving line for a measly 3.6 fantasy points. He was out for two games, but he finally returned this past Sunday to the tune of a masterful 14-target, 10-reception, 76-yard performance that saw him get into the WR2 realm for the third time this season (pretty much a 100% hit rate if we don't factor his injury-derailed W3 outing).
Even though Shepard has missed almost three games entirely, he ranks third in total PPR points so far this season among his teammates (just 0.5 below Saquon). His average 15.8 FPPG rank WR18 league-wide and only injuries are keeping him out of the top-12 at the position. The volume is insanely high, the production can't get much better, and the opportunities will keep coming as Shepard is the most reliable pass catcher in the squad plus the injuries keep piling all around the receiving/rushing corps. With the rostership back at 50%+, you know what to do before it's too late.
