Tennessee Titans running back Dontrell Hilliard has played well behind Derrick Henry this season. The veteran is the RB46 for the year, averaging 6.7 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
The former Tulane star has scored four touchdowns this season, all in the passing game. Furthermore, his four receiving touchdowns lead the team and are twice as many as any wide receiver on the roster.
However, is that enough of a reason for fantasy players to add Hilliard off the waiver wire?

Should I Add Dontrell Hilliard For Fantasy Football Week 12?
Last week, the veteran running back scored his fourth receiving touchdown of the year against the Green Bay Packers. Hilliard scored the first touchdown of the game, catching a 14-yard pass from Ryan Tannehill with 10 minutes left in the first quarter.
However, the former Tulane star had only one other touch in the game, earning four yards on his lone rushing attempt. While he found the end zone last week, Hilliard is not worth picking up except in the deeper PPR leagues.
The former undrafted free agent has scored under five half-point PPR fantasy points in 56% of the games this season. More importantly, Hilliard has five or fewer touches in all but one game this year.
What Other Running Backs Should I Target Off The Waiver Wire?
While Hilliard isn’t worth adding off the waiver wire, there are several appealing targets this week. Isiah Pacheco, Cam Akers, Latavius Murray, and James Cook are all solid targets. All four are available in over 55% of ESPN leagues.
Of the four, the top target this week is Murray. Not only is Chase Edmonds out for the next several weeks, but the Broncos waived Melvin Gordon on Monday after he had his fifth fumble of the year last week. Unless Denver adds a running back this week, Murray is at the top of the team’s depth chart.
Since joining the Broncos, the veteran running back has averaged 10 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Furthermore, Murray is averaging 11.3 fantasy points per game over the past three games, scoring two touchdowns during that span.
On Sunday, the former sixth-round pick had a season-high 17 rushing attempts and four receptions against the Las Vegas Raiders. He ended the game with a season-high 15.2 fantasy points.
With Gordon off the roster and Edmonds out the next few weeks, Murray is a low-end RB2 with a safe floor, thanks to his projected role.
