NFL Power Rankings: 10 Best Picks of the 2025 NFL Draft

Tyler Warren - NFL Draft Prospect, Fantasy Football Dynasty Rookie Rankings

Top 10 Best Picks Of The 2025 NFL Draft. Read the Top 10 Best Picks Of The 2025 NFL Draft.

Kaleb Johnson - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks - NFL Draft

Top 10 Best Picks Of The 2025 NFL Draft

The 2025 NFL Draft is in the books, and there were many surprising twists and turns along the way. While there were some questionable picks that left many fans questioning their favorite team, let’s take a look at the 10 best picks of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Baltimore Ravens - NFL, TEAM LOGO, STOCK

No. 10: Mike Green, LB, Baltimore Ravens

After being projected to be a consensus first-round selection, Mike Green fell to No. 59 and was selected by the Baltimore Ravens. Green enjoyed a career season during his final campaign at Marshall. In 2024, Green led all of college football with 17 sacks. He also added 23 tackles for loss with 84 total combined tackles. Green will join a Baltimore defensive line that tallied the second-most sacks in football last season.

Chicago Bears - NFL Stock Logo

No. 9: Luther Burden III, WR, Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears added another elite option to their offense in Luter Burden III with the 39th pick in the NFL Draft. After selecting tight end Colston Loveland in the first round, the Bears added another option for Caleb Williams. Burden enjoyed an impressive campaign in 2023 when he tallied 1,212 yards with nine touchdowns. While he took a step back in 2024, Burden will provide another great option for Williams, who should be poised to bounce back with Ben Johnson leading the offense.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS LOGO - NFL, STOCK

No. 8: Tyler Warren, TE, Indianapolis Colts

One of the best values in the first round was the Colts selecting tight end Tyler Warren with the 14th pick in the draft. While Warren was projected to be the top tight end off the board, the Bears selected Colston Loveland a few picks earlier. As a result, the Colts were able to provide their struggling quarterback, Anthony Richardson, a strong option in the middle of the field. In 2024, Warren led the Big 10 in receptions (104).

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS LOGO - NFL, STOCK

No. 7: Omarion Hampton, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

Even though the Los Angeles Chargers signed veteran Najee Harris to a one-year contract in free agency, they found their running back of the future in Omarion Hampton. Hampton was selected with the 22nd pick in the NFL Draft out of North Carolina. Over the past two seasons, Hampton led the ACC in rushing. In 2024, Hampton tallied a career-best 1,660 yards and found the back of the endzone 17 times. While Hampton may not carry the highest “fantasy” value as a rookie, he will be a high-end asset in dynasty formats as he will be the eventual workhorse back in a Greg Roman-led offense.

New England Patriots - NFL Logo Stock

No. 6: Will Campbell, OT, New England Patriots

While this may not have been the flashy pick with running back Ashton Jeanty on the board, the Patriots found a franchise cornerstone in Will Campbell. The Patriots selected Campbell out of LSU with the fourth pick in the NFL Draft. Quarterback Drake Maye flashed elite upside at times during his rookie season, but he could never find extended success as he was consistently under pressure. Campbell will help stabilize the offensive line, which allowed the fifth-most sacks in the sport last season.

Arizona Cardinals - NFL, Logo, Stock

No. 5: Will Johnson, DB, Arizona Cardinals

After being viewed as one of the top defenders in the class during most of the pre-draft discussions, the Michigan standout fell to the second round to the Arizona Cardinals due to injury concerns. Johnson played a critical role in Michigan’s 2023 National Championship. During his three seasons in college, Johnson tallied 68 combined tackles and added nine interceptions. He led the Big Ten in defensive touchdowns last season as well.

Philadelphia Eagles - NFL, TEAM LOGO, STOCK

No. 4: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles moved up one spot in the first round to select linebacker Jihaad Campbell out of Alabama. The Philadelphia Eagles had one of the best defensive units in the sport and will now welcome one of the top linebacker prospects from this year’s class. Last season in Alabama, Campbell tallied 54 solo tackles (117 combined) with five sacks and two forced fumbles.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS LOGO - NFL, STOCK

No. 3: Kaleb Johnson, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers

After losing Najee Harris in free agency, the Steelers found their replacement in the third round of the NFL Draft. After being overshadowed by several of the top running back prospects in the class, the Steelers may have found a steal. Last season, Johnson led the Big 10 in rushing yards (1,537 yards) and rushing touchdowns (21). Johnson was also named a consensus All-American.

Washington Commanders - NFL Logo Stock

No. 2: Josh Cornley Jr., OT, Washington Commanders

After allowing three sacks and struggling to contain the Philadelphia Eagles’ pass rush in the NFC Championship Game, the Commanders opted to strengthen their offensive line by adding Josh Cornley Jr. out of Oregon. Cornely played a lead role in the Oregon offensive line through his three seasons in college. He will likely shift to right tackle in D.C., as the Commanders also brought in Laremy Tunsil in free agency. While the Commanders were expected to target a running back early in their draft, Adam Peters made the smart decision and decided to further protect his franchise quarterback.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS LOGO - NFL, STOCK

No. 1: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The final pick to highlight in this ranking is Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, who they selected 19th overall in the first round. Even though the Buccaneers have several options in their wide receiver room, Egbuka adds elite depth to their depth chart. During his time at Ohio State, Egbuka was often overshadowed by some of the top prospects in the sport, such as Marvin Harrison Jr. However, Egbuka eclipsed the century mark twice in his career and could become the WR1 in Tampa Bay by his second season.
